Rated 5 out of 5 by Cyrus The Phillips BDM3201FD32 monitor is excellent value
Clear definition and was easy to set up. The largeness of the screen gives an ability to easily work on two task simultaneously. For the price paid at Officeworks it is excellent value for money. Discovering that Philips have a four warrantee on this model was welcomed.
The only disadvantage was the position of the button to control power and menu functions is at the rear and awkward to reach and manipulate. It would be better if it was in front and easily assessable.

Reasonably pleased with this monitor especially after upgrading from a 24 inch. I like the "one button does everything" on the back.
Easy to assemble and attach the base.
One minor gripe is that the screen image sometimes jumps up or down just a little, maybe half an inch (That's approximately 12.7mm for you youngsters.) :) The monitor isn't a month old and I've noticed this a few times. The PC is not the problem in that regard as it's more than capable.
In the user manual Philips advise not to leave a static image on the screen for more than half an hour for risk of image burn-in. I'm aware of at least one other monitor vendor selling similar monitors which advises same so it's not a shortcoming only to this brand, it is something to keep in mind, however.

After reading mixed reviews on the internet on this monitor, I was a bit hesitant to buy it at first but thought I’d give it go anyway as Philips has always been a good brand. I’m glad that I did.
It is awesome!
All aspects of the product is quite good for the price. It’s a nice upgrade from our old 24” monitor. The only downside is a lack of clear assembly instruction. I put 2 screws into the wrong holes and it took me half an hour to get them out with tweezers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TheG Great price for IPS panel, light weight and clear pictues
I bought 3 of these 31.5" IPS monitors. I will need a bigger desk now or probably mount on wall...they are quiet wide and will take up a lot of desk real estate.
If you work in data modelling or require large screens for work and are on a budget i would check this monitor out.
A big difference in picture clarity to the last ASUS TN panel monitor. My eyes feel better after using these monitors.
The monitor does have an off switch at back.
Although it failed to mention this in the actual documentation...the instructions are a little poor when it comes to assembly and screwing in the stand.
The little menu button at back must be held down for a few secs to switch off.
The button itself is a bit hard to reach to adjust the monitor to your liking.
I would recommend download the Smart monitor software for easy adjustments from your keyboard.
On the plus side too is it came with 4 year warranty, which most monitors only provide 1 year warranty.

Despite being the size and shape of a small TV, this screen is used by our small geological consultancy to create and display geological models of coal and mineral deposits, next to a laptop on a desk. The more screen area at high resolution the better. The price was also very handy, being at the same price point as smaller screens. Easy to setup and use. Our only complaint is that our company budget did not extend to a UHD resolution screen.
