Rated 4 out of 5 by Retup Up to Phillips high standards
Phillips products are always to a high standard. Phillishave razors do not match blade razors and until someone replicates the fact that a blade shaver shaves off dead skin cells and roughness while an electric shaver doesn't (in my case) I have used Pillishave razors for many year and will continue to do so.

Rated 2 out of 5 by AndrewAus Mixed feelings
I have mixed feelings on this product. I have now got it working fairly well, but initially had trouble with cleaning it properly, and more particularly putting the heads back in properly. You need to position heads very precisely for them to work right when putting them back in. I am also unhappy that the organisation that I bought the product from tells me that heads are not covered under warranty, even if they have what to me appears to be a manufacturing fault, as distinct from wear and tear problems. The replacement heads are also very expensive.

Bought a new shaver after having the old style corded Philishave for over 20 years, I've had the new shaver for 14 months and it stopped charging..... I rang the service agent to see if it was fixable, got told over the phone don't worry about it as it was probably a dead battery and not worth fixing....
Anyway I ended up taking it in for repairs and was told it was my lucky day it was only the charger and they will get me another for $32.00 over night, so waited 3 weeks for the charger to turn up and then got charged $46.00 for it as there had been a price rise by Phillips, took new charger home plugged it in and still nothing, rang service agent back and got told it must be the battery, not worth fixing...
I’ve spend over $350 on a shaver... so I've just bought a cheap ebay one and it’s better than the Phillips ever was and if it dies I could buy ten more that for less than 1 Phillips shaver

Rated 5 out of 5 by TheBoldFace Great product for a great price
I have been a PhilShave user for over 12 years. They have pleased me with performance & design over the time.
This new addition proved itself in every way. Since I shave my face & head at the same time, performance is imperative. Less noisier than the previous models & shaving is quick as it doesn't miss much on the first go. Wet n dry operation is a bonus. Very ergonomically designed n gives a good grip.
I'm very happy about this purchase. Last year I had to go to a competitor due to price constraints. I returned back as I couldn't get the same quality.

Only use as a dry shave and as such not as close as a blade, but does the job.

Rated 2 out of 5 by bearable It is not as efficient as I thought it would be.
It is well designed, easy to use, and the performance is no where near as good as a blade. I did not expect it to take so long to have a shave that is not as close as using a blade. It is handy to use while travelling.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Gazza This product is a disappointment.
I have found this shaver to be not much of an improvement on my previous shaver (same make) but was half the cost.
The previous model was direct power. The present one battery operated and perhaps this is the reason for the lack of power. Unfortunately I was unable to purchase a direct power shaver which was a disappointment. Unable to store shaver after cleaning due to water retention.
