I love everything about this clock radio: EXCEPT the fact that, when the alarm is set, the alarm goes off at random times before the set time. I am taking it back.

I bought this clock radio for its looks and its unobtrusive size. It sits neatly on the littlest bedside table. Its auto dimmer feature works a treat. It's easy to program and the sound quality is quite good for such a small unit. The only disappointing feature is the lack of a decent aerial. You have to make do with a piece of wire hanging out of the back of the unit. An input socket for an external aerial would be a distinct advantage.

Purchased this item for use in an office at work. Real easy to setup extremely sensitive reception picks up more stations than my other DAB clock radio at just a fraction of the cost. Highly recommended

Rated 5 out of 5 by Glenn20 Way better than expected!!!
I have had this for about 2 years now. I am surprised about how good the DAB+ reception is, it is crystal clear. Clock radios that I have previously had in the same spot could barely receive an FM signal at all, usually just scratchy AM. This is a top performer as well as a compact and beautiful looking unit. So glad i bought it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JJJinx A good all round product
I have just replaced my 30 year old AM/FM klunker with this little beauty.
It is a pleasure to have clean, interference free audio with a wide choice of DAB+ stations. Who needs FM when you have DAB+, where most of the FM stations are repeated anyway?
The setup is not as intuitive as I expected, but once set up, you shouldn't need to touch anything other than the basic controls.
. Provided Auto time is set, the time will quickly correct itself from the DAB time signal, after a power outage. The radio WILL come on when power is restored, but that's better than missing your alarm.
. The easily visible display has a huge dynamic dimming range.
. The soft start alarm, where the volume increases gradually, is a less painful way of waking up.
The design of the device means that the speaker can only face one way - away from the listener. Therefore, unless you have a reflective surface close to the back of the unit, you'll lose a fair bit of the treble spectrum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by peter Great Radio but does have problems
This radio has very clean reception. It finds in excess of 50 stations in auto scan and have not found any dropout problems. Likes Well-designed package with clean static free audio. The display is large and easy to read. Auto dimming display which works brilliantly in full darkness. Volume control has about 20 steps and is really smooth working from very low level to quite loud and free from noticeable distortion. Soft start radio in alarm mode works well. Auto time on display after a power fail (if you are listening to digital) I also think it corrects for daylight saving. Dislikes The “Dynamic Bass Boost” is a useless button. It should be hidden away in a system setting. Moving a station to your favorite selection is not intuitive but otherwise you do not need to use the manual. Too many buttons on top panel that can be accidentally hit at night. Most should be moved to rear panel.
Only need VOLUME knob, TUNE knob (Favorites only), Alarm ON/OFF, RADIO ON/OFF and SLEEP. Others should be moved to side or back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tricia Love it!
This is the best clock radio I have ever had. Very easy to change the time of the alarm. Auto dim's depending on the ambient light. Numbers are big and easy to read without glasses.
