I was looking for a smart TV that would fill a Large Room and that would be a appreciated piece of furnishing - yes it looks great..no it will not connect to the internet - after spending a few hundred $$ on a (private) IT expert to check my settings and after wasting 12 hrs 1.5 spent on the help line and then being cut off I was ready to throw it out - why is it so hard!!!! as yet I have not rectified the problem - I just would like to be able to watch Netflix without having to reconnect again and again - also my internet is fine everything else connects immediately - the sound is also poor -hopefully Phillips to be able to send out a technician -

I purchased this Television as a birthday present for myself and overall I am really quite pleased with the overall picture quality. Whilst I do like the menu system, I do find it quite slow and the general Smart TV type solutions are very disappointing with an almost complete lack of application functionality and a great sounding option in 'Cloud TV' which is not available in Australia and still says 'Coming Soon' 4.5 Months later.
Love the Ambilight component and the overall aesthetic look.
But again if you are looking for Smart TV capability, the Phillips offering is severely lacking at the moment.

I bought this TV because of the 4K panel. However, it doesn't have the H.265 codec which allows for streaming of 4K services (e.g. Netflix).
The panel / picture is good, except when there is a white background where you can see vertical lines down the panel.
The worst part of this panel is the software. The menus are SO slow and navigating around is terrible. Freeview Plus works, but only sometimes. Again it is SO slow to load and by the time you try and run a catchup program, sometimes you get sound but no picture, or you get picture and no sound, so there is a back and forth between the menus to get it to work.
Pretty disappointed with the overall experience with this TV.
