Popular Philips DLO Action Jacket and Jam Jacket Families Announced for 4G nano and 2G touch

Sydney, Australia – Philips Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (DLO) today unveiled a selection of new cases for the recently announced 4th generation iPod nano and 2nd generation iPod touch. Based on the brand's popular Action Jacket and Jam Jacket families, all cases have been redesigned to fit the new players and will be available in stores by the end of October. A leather HipCase folio for the 4G nano will also be available at this time. In addition, all previous members of the HipCase family for iPod touch are on sale now and compatible with the 2nd generation iPod touch.

Action Jacket

With its integrated belt clip and removable, adjustable armband, the Action Jacket takes sport cases to a new level of flexibility. Users can easily clip the Action Jacket to their clothing or a backpack for daily use, or add the armband for sport use. A clear window shields the iPod and its screen from scratches and moisture, while still providing complete play-through control. The armband is machine washable and fits most biceps: from 23cm up to 50cm. Both the Action Jacket for nano and Action Jacket for touch will be in stores by the end of October from $29.99 incl. GST.

Jam Jacket with Earphone Management

Providing a strong, gripable layer of stylish protection to the iPod nano or iPod touch, the Philips DLO Jam Jacket is made of superior-quality silicone and comes equipped with the industry-acclaimed Earphone Management System. Featured on the back of the case, Earphone Management allows users to neatly wrap the cord behind the iPod, and safely stow the earphones while not in use. Each Jam Jacket features access to all iPod controls, dock connector, headphone jack, and touch-sensitive screen (iPod touch only). Both cases are available in black, and the Jam Jacket for touch comes equipped with a Philips DLO Surface Shield screen protector. Each will be available in October from $24.99 incl. GST.

HipCase Folio for 4G nano

The Philips DLO HipCase for iPod nano is a folio-style case that gives users complete protection for their iPod with a padded flip-up cover and hidden inner pocket, a leather-covered belt clip, and total iPod access in one sleek leather package. Constructed of fine-quality leather and featuring a soft fabric-lined interior, the HipCase surrounds the iPod nano with sophisticated protection. Beneath the padded cover is a clear, play-through window for added screen and click wheel protection. Even when the case is closed, there is total access to the earphone jack. The HipCase for nano will be available in October for $29.99 incl. GST.
