Philips extends its PerfectCare family with two innovative new products

September 12, 2013

Sydney, Australia – Philips is proud to launch the PerfectCare Azur and PerfectCare Pure, the latest additions to the revolutionary PerfectCare range.

At the core of these two garment care products is the ground-breaking Optimal Temp technology, which maintains the perfect combination of temperature and steam so that users no longer need to adjust the temperature to iron different fabrics. Thanks to this feature present in both the PerfectCare Azur and PerfectCare Pure, there is no need to worry about burning clothes, pre-sorting your clothes into fabric groups or wasting time waiting for the iron to heat up or cool down when ironing different fabrics. Philips’ pioneering technology delivers one perfect setting for all fabrics that can remove creases effectively and delivers superior results in less time.

Want the benefits of PerfectCare in a traditional iron? The PerfectCare Azur is the world’s first steam iron with Optimal Temp technology. It delivers powerful steam on one heat setting whilst maintaining the size and portability of a traditional iron. It features Philips’ revolutionary T-ionicGlide soleplate, which provides a 25 per cent better gliding experience1, thanks to its special coating, scratch resistant surface and a stainless steel coating. The soleplate also includes a sharp Quattro Precision tip to improve ironing accuracy in hard to reach areas, such as shirt sleeves and collars, and prevent clothes becoming creased again within minutes of ironing.

Want the performance of a System but have limited storage space? Easy to use, carry, and store, the Philips PerfectCare Pure is up to 40 per cent lighter and more compact typical steam generators, making it an ideal for people looking for the technology and power of a steam generator without the need for larger storage space. Like the Azur, the PerfectCare Pure model also includes the T-ionicGlide soleplate technology to ensure smooth gliding and overall easy steaming. It features Pure steam cartridges that help to create a scale and stain free ironing experience, and it comes with a 5 year warranty against any scale related issues.

The Philips PerfectCare Azur and PerfectCare Pure will be available from Harvey Norman, Good Guys, Myer, David Jones and other selected retailers from October 2014. Product specifications, including RRPs, are listed below.
