Sydney, Australia – Adding to the Philips Fidelio line-up of home audio systems is the SoundAvia, a wireless speaker that incorporates AirPlay technology, giving the user the freedom to play their entire iTunes music library wirelessly from an iPad, iPhone, iPod or direct from iTunes on a computer. With an incredibly simple one-step AirPlay setup, the SoundAvia can be connected to a home network in a matter of seconds.
Packing a powerful punch in a compact design, the Fidelio SoundAvia (AD7050W) fills the room with impressive audio quality thanks to full range front-firing speaker drivers and back-firing bass pipes that optimise the sound balance. The slightly curved baffle design elegantly broadens the optimal listening area.
Incorporating Philips’ proprietary FullSound technology, the SoundAvia uses the latest generation Digital Signal Processing to faithfully enhance music rendering. Music content is dynamically analysed and optimised to give music great detail and warmth on playback.
The Fidelio SoundAvia is compatible with Philips’ SoundStudio App, available via iTunes, which lets the user change every aspect of sound with intuitive and simple controls. It also offers access to thousands of Internet radio stations worldwide.
The speaker also comes with a USB port to charge an iPod, iPhone or iPad, or to play back music direct from the device and an AUX-in connection which allows direct playback of MP3 content from portable media players.
The Philips Fidelio SoundAvia (AD7050W) will be available from July 2013, joining the full range of Philips audio products.
