Philips removes the hassle from juicing with the QuickCleanTM Juicer

New and improved juicer delivers up to 10% more juice and cleans within a minute

April 24, 2012

Sydney, Australia – Philips, the world’s leading brand in juicers1, is proud to announce the launch of the QuickCleanTM Juicer. Delivering maximum juice with minimum fuss, the QuickClean Juicer features a revolutionary extraction system, which delivers up to 10% more juice2 and best of all the clean-up only takes a minute.

“As a global health and well-being company, Philips is committed to providing innovative solutions that meet the needs of an increasingly health-conscious generation,” said Joanne Bainy, Marketing Manager, Kitchen Appliances, Philips Australia & New Zealand. “Delivering more juice without the additional hassle, the Philips QuickClean Juicer not only helps to encourage a healthier lifestyle, it is also very convenient thanks to its simplicity of use and ease of cleaning,” Bainy added.

At the heart of the QuickClean Juicer is the innovative juice extraction system with upside down sieve that delivers up to 10% more juice, meaning more healthy goodness in every glass. The QuickClean also boasts a substantial pulp container, with up to 2.5 litres of juice able to be prepared in one use.

Catering to Australians’ busy lifestyles, the QuickClean Juicer can be cleaned within a minute, taking the biggest hassle3 out of making fresh juice. The inverted electro-polished sieve ensures that fibers from fruits and vegetables do not get stuck easily in the mesh, making it simple to clean even with a normal sponge.

The QuickClean Juicer has been carefully designed for easy assembly and removal, making it a convenient tool for every household. It also features an extra-large 80mm feeding tube that allows for the use of large fruits and vegetables, removing the hassle of having to pre-cut items before juicing. A powerful motor also ensures that even the toughest ingredients are juiced to give you all the goodness you need in every glass.

The QuickClean’s pulp container also ensures that the pulp from fruits and vegetables will all be collected in only one place, which means users don’t need to remove pulp from other parts such as the lid. All removable parts of the juicer are also dishwasher safe.

Juicer Master and Philips juicer spokesperson, Jason Vale has been promoting the various health benefits of fruit and vegetable juices for over a decade and believes that having the right tools is crucial for successful juicing.

“The thing that people usually complain about more than anything else when it comes to juicing is the cleaning. Philips has listened – it now takes less than a minute to clean your machine,” said Jason Vale. “I’m passionate about juicing – I juice two or three times every day and I need a machine that will take the job on.”

Jason Vale will be in Australia in April to launch his new book, and will be conducting live demonstrations as well as sharing his personal story about how he improved his health and gained a new life through juicing.

The Philips QuickClean Juicer has also received a prestigious red dot product design award in the 2012 international ‘red dot design award’ competition. This award recognises the QuickClean Juicer’s high design quality and particularly the innovative inverted sieve system that makes juicing more appealing than ever before.
